Antique Dog and Hydrant
This antique set was hand-carved from wood, and you can see the marks from the saw along the bottoms of both pieces. A very fluffy yellow dog with a green and black hydrant.. you can't tell from all angles, but the dog has his leg raised to the hydrant. The dog has painted black eyes, and the hydrant has black bolts on each of the sides. Neither piece has survived the years without wear, although I am sure that I did not play these, so I think we can blame my brothers! They also have not survived with their original cork stoppers. Surely part of Grandmother's original collection, our guesstimate would be 1950s for this unique piece.
