Texas Souvenir Barrels
These glass and plastic souvenir barrels include a Texas map and black screw-on tops. This illustrated map includes key city callouts for El Paso, Amarillo, Ft. Worth, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Galveston, Corpus Christie, the Rio Grand and Gulf of Mexico. Illustrations include an armadillo, a chile ristra, a bucking bronco with rider, an oil rig, the state capital, the Alamo, a Longhorn steer and a sailboat in the gulf.
These little rascals were particularly difficult to photograph as they rolled all over the stand! We don't have any idea where they came from, but are guessing they were additions from the 1960s or 70s.
