Boy and Girl Dogs
Look at these faces! This boy and girl dog are ready for a Christmas Morning snowfight. This classic "go-with" pair features a boy dog with green galashes and a green jacket, accented by a red scarf, mittens and hat with a fluffy white ball on top. He looks a little like a Teddy Bear, but we're pretty sure he's actually a dog. The girl is white with long ears (cocker spaniel?), and her outfit is a mirror of the boy's - red galashes and jacket with white buttons, accented by a green scarf and mittens. No hat for her, though - wouldn't want to cover up those ears!
The really darling part about these two is apparent when you look at them from the back. The boy has a big "P" on the back of his jacket, and the girl has a big "S". No trouble telling which-is-which with THIS pair, go ahead and put them out on the table!
This set was a gift to me, I believe I received it at one of our Christmas Pot-Luck parties, which would have been around 1993 or 1994. The stickers on the bottom read "House of Lloyd 1990" and "Made in China".
